Artist Statement:
I wanted to create something that embodies our connection to the Land and Nations~ 
The resistance in Palestine and Turtle Island are weaved together from the same bloody cloth.
Food and medicine are the same, however, their gifts are placed to nourish our minds, body and spirit. Each space needs particular help.
No matter what the colonial state tries to do, the Land will always be there to remember who we are and where we come from.
An umbilical cord that will never be severed.
