Ki wiichihiitonaan "We Take Care of Each Other" Collection designed by  Carly Nabess (Métis). Released July 2024. 

 

Artist statement: Ki wiichihiitonaan (We take care of each other) translation from Elder Norman Fleury, Amelia Douglas Institute.

The design includes a horse, which represents our two cultures and the commonalities we share. The plants and food, including the orange and olive, are an offering of love and sustenance during such a dark time. I hope that they help illuminate the humanity and beauty of the culture.
