Collection: Jaffa Kwin’ dut’en

Designed by Satsi Naziel (Wet’suwet’en/Chilean).

Artist Statement: "Kwin’ dut’en, means orange in Wet’suwet’en. The Jaffah Orange is a symbol of Palestinian connection to their land and soil. It represents the Palestinian peoples love for their land and love of nature. A fruit of wealth, prosperity, and hope. I designed a Jaffa Orange, along with people drawn in the north west coast indigenous style.

A fruit is the reward of years of tending to the land, much like how the Palestinian people and allies are working towards the fruit of freedom. The Palestinian people care and tend to their land, much like how the indigenous Wet’suwet’ens are caretakers to their Yintah. The people, Palestinian and Wet’suwet’en will win their fruit of freedom to live along side with nature once again."
