ᑕᐦᑐ ᐊᐋᓸᐢ ᐊᓯᑕᑭᒫᐤ / Every Child Matters T-Shirt 2024
Cedar Roots Collective is excited to work with Indigenous artist Phil Gray to honor intergenerational survivors of Indian residential and day schools. His design includes an Indigenous baby wrapped lovingly and safely in a traditional cradleboard within an overall butterfly design that represents beauty, freedom and transformation. The design also includes "ᑕᐦᑐ ᐊᐋᓸᐢ ᐊᓯᑕᑭᒫᐤ", Cree syllabics meaning "every child matters."
We released this Every Child Matters t-shirt in September so that we can all contribute to reconciliAction by walking alongside Indigenous peoples to help mark the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation on September 30th.
All profits will go to UNYA's Two-Spirit Collective and The Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
Pick up will be available in East Vancouver. Delivery available for small delivery fee within Vancouver.
Orders can also be shipped across so-called Canada and the US.
